Have very annoying and confusing mythology... But I've already ranted about it so I'll just move on. As anyone who has been reading this should know, I am writing a story based on a lot of different mythologies and have posted some character sheets (two of them aren't very accurate anymore, but I'm not redoing them), and one of them is based off the Celtic goddess Epona. Epona is sometimes put together with the triple war goddess, The Morrígan, which is made up of the goddess Morrígan (who'd a thought?), Babd (or Badb I can never remember), and Macha (who is sometimes switched out with Epona). So in my story
I've made them spiritual triplets, which means they're always born at the same time but not always the same parents and have a far stronger connection to each other than normal. So I was thinking about them and I decided to sort of base them off of the different people of the British Isle's, the British, Irish, Scottish, and Welsh.
In order from oldest to youngest:
Morrígan is scottish. Her animal is a wolf
Babd (or however you spell it...) is Irish. Her animal is a crow (and her name means battle and sometimes has another name added to it so it translates as Battle Crow/Raven. I've seen her mentioned as both but I think I might make her a crow. Ravens are done to much)
Epona is British (was originally making her more Irish, but more research revealed she is originally Gaulish (still Celtic) and was introduced to the British first by the Romans, and Badb is mentioned specifically as Irish by some people so...). Her animal is a horse.
That be all!
P.S. If anyone knows more about the Scotts, please let me know
